Writers' Day 2026 is supported by Hachette, New Writing North, Royal Literary Fund, and Channing Hall.

Writers Day is designed to spark ideas, build community, and develop knowledge, featuring a variety of published authors and publishing professionals who'll share their expertise and experience.

The schedule includes a keynote address, panels of experienced professionals, and workshops with published authors.

This year, we're returning to the gorgeous Channing Hall (which has had a heating system upgrade since last year!) and is fully accessible.

IMPORTANT:

• If you are a member of The Writers Workshop, book via the Writers Workshop website for your Early Bird Ticket offer!
• If you have any food allergies or intolerances, it's best to book a NO LUNCH ticket option. The only lunch options will be meat, vegetarian, or vegan.
• During booking, you will be asked to specify which morning and afternoon workshop you plan to attend to help us allocate venue space appropriately.
