Writers Gather
Pre-Festival Writers’ Gathering with Guest Author Anna Fleming and CABN Advocate Dr Kerri Andrews.
Pre-Festival Writers’ Gathering with Guest Author Anna Fleming
You are warmly invited to a relaxed pre-festival event for writers in the Scottish Borders on Thursday 29th January at 4.30pm - 6.30pm, in the Eastgate Theatre in Peebles.
We are delighted to welcome our special guest, Anna Fleming — writer, climber, artist and author of Time on Rock (Canongate).
Anna Fleming is a non-fiction writer based in Edinburgh. An active traveller and climber, she collects stories of people, mountains and nature from around the world. Her first book, a nature-writing memoir, Time on Rock (Canongate 2022) was shortlisted for the Wainwright Prize and Boardman-Tasker Award. Her PhD with the University of Leeds examined Wordsworth's creativity and Cumbrian communities
This afternoon event is designed as a gentle, informal gathering for writers at all stages of their careers — a chance to meet, share ideas and connect with others in a supportive environment.
CABN Advocate Dr Kerri Andrews will also be on hand to chat through your thoughts and questions over a light supper.
