Online 1hr writing retreats held all week - every single week!

Wednesday 9am & 4pm

Thursday 7am & 9am

How it works

Log into Zoom and share your goal with us.

Then write for an hour - leaving cameras on or off.

We check in with each other at the end for a couple of minutes. (We don't share work, just tell each other how it's gone)

It's lovely, it's a kind community, it works!

It helps to know that others are writing too!

What if you're not in the UK?

We are on GMT (UK times).

We know that the 6am & 7am times work well if you're in Asia or Oceania & we know that the 4pm, 7pm times work well if you're in the US - still not a good time or day for you?

About Ironclad

Ironclad was created in 2020 as a place for writers, artists and theatre-makers to find each other, learn about the business of making art, and develop their skills.

Founded by producer and writer couple Michelle Allen and Andrew Allen, after running the Cast Iron Theatre company for over seven years, Ironclad’s mission is to support, signpost and provide spaces where people can build community, write, make, discuss and learn.

We know how hard it is to make connections, network and learn about how to get paid for what you do.

We want to support all people and are especially interested in making sure that our work reaches people who currently have low incomes, or come from low income backgrounds.

We’re also neurodivergent and know that being creative and neurodivergent adds additional complexities and barriers to networking, making and putting your work into the world.

We have a mix of free events and some have a cost - which we try to keep as low as possible.

Members of our community - Creative Cauldron get tons of our events for free - or at a 20% discount plus our own Discord server to chat to friends and peers on. Head to our website for details of how to join us!
