Writing Workshop 8-12

We provide a wide range of drama and theatre related workshops (acting, improvisation, singing, dancing and design) for young people aged 6-25 and opportunities to perform in major theatre productions. We also support local schools by delivering teacher training and drama activities both in and out of school time and undertake partnership projects with community groups and other agencies who wish to use drama as a medium for learning.

Bring out your inner playwright and join us to develop or hone your writing skills and create your very own monologues for performance.

<p>Working with award winning professional playwright Sarah Nelson you will be guided through fun and inspiring writing exercises to help you explore your  ideas and experiences and give voice to a character you create. The work you produce will also be able to be shared as part of Gallery Oldham’s ‘Lockdown Museum’ project meaning your work will be captured forever for future generations to enjoy.</p>
