  • how to critique and analyse opponent’s pleadings and
  • prepare for debates

SPEAKER

Andrew Ireland was for 30 years a sheriff court practitioner almost exclusively in the civil courts. He became a civil solicitor advocate in 2001 with extended rights in the Court of Session. He had a wide practice including personal injury, property and commercial litigation. He taught on the Civil Advocacy courses on the Diploma at both Glasgow and Strathclyde Universities as well as contributing to other advocacy and pleading courses.
