Dennis Eagle - Aldridge Service Centre

Course aimed at: Designed for Fitters, Mechanics or Engineers with experience working with mechanical and electrical systems.Our course provides an understanding of all the main systems involved in the chassis and for customers who want to be able to diagnose and rectify any chassis related faults.Our Trainer will cover Euro 6 legislation, the D8K engine, ECU functions and locations, air braking components and function, air suspension components and function, Electronic Braking System (EBS/ABS/ESP), Electronic Levelling Control ELC, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Agenda

DAY 1-Candidates arrive on site

Trainer:  Introduce the candidates to the module and find out learner previous knowledge. There are also individual learning tasks which should be carried out as in introduction to the unit, and to re-enforce knowledge throughout.

Training

Begin course material on Chassis systems, Engine and Lubrication.

Begin course material

Lunch

Carry on with course material, Engine aftertreatment and ETS overview. Summative assessment of the course using an onsite vehicle for observation purposes.

Day 2 - Candidates arrive on site

EBS system overview (Design description and functionality)

Course  material

ELC system overview (Design, description and functionality) Vehicle walk round and familiarisation. Summative assessment of the course using an onsite vehicle for observation purposes.
