Overview

This comprehensive workshop is open to beginners with no prior knowledge.

This free, in-person comprehensive workshop will cover the following topics:

  • Introduction to CasaXPS layout
  • Calibrating XPS data
  • XPS backgrounds
  • Component fitting
  • Topics on constraints and doublets

This workshop is open to beginners with no prior knowledge of XPS data analysis. Once completed attendees will be able to independently analyse their own XPS data. It is particularly useful to those researching materials such as; thin films, catalysts, batteries, semiconductors and so on.

Speakers will be invited to share their experiences and there will be an opportunity to network with the XPS users community. Lunch will be provided.

Training wil take place in the Rayleigh Room, Maxwell Centre, University of Cambridge.
