• 10am - 12pm. The story so far: talks and discussion on what steps have been taken by XR Educators and many others. The structure and principles.
• 12pm - 1pm. Lunch
• 1pm - 5pm. Our story for the future - workshop including working groups on political strategy, regional development and in-schools support.

Purpose of the event

There are brave steps being made internationally and in the UK in terms of curriculum, school biodiversity improvement and carbon reduction, as well as considerations of the related mental health crisis.

Brilliant organisations, individuals and schools doing amazing work, despite the many barriers.

At this event we will form the new XR Educators vision and mandate, so together we can direct our energy to help these organisations and individuals form a new education system at scale which supports young people into our very different future.

We will ask:

• What is XR Educators role in helping the conversation take hold in the media and minds of those in power?

• How can we utilise XR principles to overcome the barriers experienced by those trying to push for change?

Let's make this vision together, and let's see how far we can get towards realising it in 2020.
