Aiming  to improve communication between KS 2 and 3 by taking an aspect of the mathematics curriculum or pedagogical approach as the focus.

<h2>Dates &amp; Time:</h2><p>Day 1 – 13th January (9.30am to 3.00pm)</p><p>Day 2 – 27th April (9.30am to 3.00pm)</p><p>Day 3 – 15th June (9.30am to 3.00pm)</p><p><strong>Participants need to attend all of the sessions listed above to participate in the project.</strong></p><h2>Target Audience: </h2><p>The participants will be a mix of teachers from secondary schools and primary schools, ideally where the schools are linked locally. </p><p><strong>Maximum 2 participants per school.</strong></p><h2>Programme Outline:</h2><p>The project aims to improve communication between Key Stages 2 and 3 by taking an aspect of the mathematics curriculum or a pedagogical approach as the focus for the work.</p><p>Teachers from different phases work together collaboratively to develop a consistent approach to their chosen aspect through discussion, joint lesson design and delivery, observation and the development of documentation to support continuity. As a result, channels of communication are established and there is an increased focus on curriculum and pedagogical continuity at key transition points which supports children as they move from KS2 to KS3.</p><h2>Additional Information:</h2><p><strong>Refreshments</strong> - Tea &amp; Coffee will be served during the day, <strong>please bring your own lunch</strong></p><p><strong>Parking </strong>- Limited parking is available, alternatively please park considerately on the roads surrounding the school</p>
