Come and join us for a gentle, relaxing yoga class at Cranhill Development Trust. Wear comfy clothes and bring some water. If you have a mat, bring it along! If not, we can provide one. Some people like to bring a little blanket for meditation, but this is completely optional.
The class is upstairs in the hall with a beautiful stained glass window, just go through the main door, take the door to the right, and you’ll find the stairs.
No pressure at all, move at your own pace and come out of any pose whenever you need. Variations will be offered for many poses so you can choose what feels best for your body. Meditations last 10–15 minutes and are fully guided, so don’t worry if you’ve never meditated before. Although it may sound long, the asanas (poses) prepare you for it, and most people find the time flies!
