Yorkshire Ambulance Service Multi-Disciplinary Real-Time Trauma Simulation
Yorkshire Ambulance Service will deliver a high-fidelity trauma simulation focusing on complex conveyance decisions and the safe use of Airedale Hospital as a “Pit-Stop” stabilisation point prior to Major Trauma Centre transfer. There is currently no formal simulation training offered to YAS staff as part of internal investment days. This proposed session could be delivered alongside Airedale’s critical care simulation programme, which takes place on the first Wednesday of every month.
