Do you want to make change happen in your community or help others act on climate change? Not sure where to start? Need more people, time or money? This event is for you!This event will connect people across the community and gather your ideas for change in the Meadows. Then, together, we will decide what next steps are necessary to turn those ideas into action and change. These next steps can be anything from inviting national experts to run workshops, to figuring out what equipment is needed and how much it will cost.Whether you are interested in becoming a Climate Champion, have ideas of initiatives you would like to see in the Meadows or you just want to come along and listen in - book a space! Some example initiatives that are in other areas: Repair Cafe, Planet-friendly kitchen, Community Fridge, Edible community planters, etc. This event is for Meadows residents. Wheelchair accessible. Suitable for people aged 15+ but accompanying children are welcome.
