YÚN's OPEN STUDIO SESSION
8 hours. 2 rooms. Pure collaboration. Join YÚN's Open Studio Session for a day of beat making, songwriting, and networking with the best.
The Session Breakdown
We’ve designed the day to move from inspiration to execution. Here’s how we’re spending our 8 hours:
Phase 1: The Kickoff & Showcase
We start with a high-energy networking session. This is your chance to introduce yourself and play your work for the room. Get your everyone locked in from the jump.
Phase 2: The Creative Split (Rooms by Genre)
We divide into two dedicated rooms based on your preferred sound and genre.
- The Warm-up: We jump straight into a 2-hour "Ice Breaker" exercise, a collaborative beat-making and songwriting challenge to get the pens moving and the drums knocking.
Phase 3: The Mid-Session Mix
After the 3 hour sprint, we break for lunch. We’ll mix the rooms up a little and share what we’ve built during the exercises, and get fresh ears on the progress.
Phase 4: The Mastermind Hour
A dedicated hour for the "Music Business" We’ll dive deep into:
- Music Business: Royalties, splits, and navigating the industry.
- Technical Skills: Production tips, vocal chain secrets, and songwriting structures.
Phase 5: Open Floor & Demo Recording
The studio is yours. This is the time to lay down demos and finalize records. Artists can choose from a curated selection of beats YÚN & WETHAVIBE community producers or collaborate on-the-spot with the producers in the room.
Phase 6: The Final Playback
We wrap the day with an awesome listening party. We’ll play back the demos and tracks created during the session, followed by a group photo to cement the new additions to the community.
Artist & Producer Options:
- Producers: Bring your laptops to lead the room and showcase your latest work.
- Artists: Access a range of professional beats or record your own ideas in real-time.
- Everyone: Leave with new demos, new knowledge, and a stronger network.
