Zentangle - fornightly mindful drawing workshops

Zentangle Mindful Art sessions provide 90 minutes of calm where participants can enjoy, regardless of artistic ability, creating a unique and beautiful piece of art.Zentangle pictures (or tiles) look complicated but are simply created using a series of lines and shapes that participants are guided to place on their paper and before they know it, will have created something quite outstanding!Through their work, participants will consider that there are no mistakes, only opportunities, that we are all unique and we can all create something beautiful.No artistic skills are needed for this mindful art session that offers relaxation, connection and a metaphor for life.This session is suitable for all ages and requires only a scrap of paper and pencil, (although a cotton bud and fine nibbed black pen are useful too).Classes are run by either Lucy Farran or Mary Dewick. Both Mary and Lucy are Certified Zentangle teachers (CZT). These classes are suitable for everyone, there is no experience needed. Tickets for each workshop are £5, however we are pleased to be able to provide fully funded tickets to anybody who needs one. If finance is a barrier to you, please select the fully funded ticket from the ticketing options. You are more than welcome to have your camera off and audio muted throughout, freeing you up to move around, eat or simply relax whilst we guide you through the session.**Please be aware, we require a minimum number of delegates for each of our online sessions in order to run these effectively, if we are unable to obtain the minimum number 24 hours prior, you may be informed of the courses postponement and will be given the option to transfer onto the next available course.
