Come join us!What? Following our successful launch in September 2018, London’s first plant-based, zero waste market is back and bigger than ever! Dedicated to all things eco, Zero Mkt is the perfect place to enjoy tasty vegan food and drink as you shop. From planet-friendly gifts and homewares, to pre-loved and environmentally-minded clothing collections, there will be plenty on offer for the conscious consumers amongst us. We'll also be running FREE talks and workshops throughout the day.With 40 or more exhibitors attending, Zero Mkt will have:- Zero animal products (we heart plants)- Zero single-use plastics (shout out to David Attenborough!)- Zero waste (think reusable, recyclable and compostable)This is a not-for-profit initiative. Any profit will be donated to Animal Equality, surplus meals will be donated to City Harvest and leftover food will be composted and used by the school's Gardening Club. Trees will also be planted by our founders, as part of a carbon offsetting mission.What's not to love?!When? Sat 13th April 2019, 10am-5pm. Save the date!Where? Saint Thomas More Language College, Cadogan Street, Chelsea, London SW3 2QS. The school will be the first in the UK to host an event of this kind, inspiring students and London's community to take action and address global climate change together!The nearest underground station is Sloane Square. We're also a short walk away from Knightsbridge and South Kensington.Lifts and disability accessible toilets are available on site. Why?Non-recyclable plastics, intensive farming of animals, landfill full to the brim – what a sorry sight. Here's your chance to make a change.Let's rally together to conserve and preserve this beautiful orb that we call home. Let’s bask in plant-based goodness, explore sustainable products, and begin to live more consciously. Guide dogs are of course permitted though.How much does it cost?Absolutely nothing! Say what? Yup, entry into the event and all workshops is totally free. If you're keen to join in the fun - and why wouldn't you be! - download your free ticket in advance on Eventbrite to guarantee entry. Our doors will also be open to passersby on the day.Can children come along?Absolutely, everyone is welcome here!T&amp;Cs- The event will go ahead, come rain or shine; we'll have stalls inside and outside.- We reserve the right to refuse admission.- We will be taking photographs at this event and using these for social media / promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be included, please speak to the photographer or one of our team members.
