Conway Hall is Where Ethics Matter.Owned and operated by Conway Hall Ethical Society, Conway Hall is a membership organisation and educational charity (no.1156033) with a history spanning two centuries.The building is named in honour of Moncure Daniel Conway (1832–1907), anti-slavery advocate, peace campaigner, an early supporter of women's suffrage and biographer of Thomas Paine.It is also renowned as a hub for free speech and independent thought, hosting suffragettes, political radicals, scientists, philosophers, artists, performers; campaign, charities and other non-profit organisations.Conway Hall reserves the right to change the programme and personnel of its events without notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Take inspiration from our Sunday Concerts archives to create your own zine! Zines are small DIY publications associated with radical movements and subcultures, with a long-standing association with music. Join us for an afternoon of making before enjoying the <A HREF="https://conwayhall.org.uk/event/jubilee-quartet/" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Jubilee Quartet at our Sunday Concert</A>.
This workshop will give you an introduction to the history and uses of zines, showcase some of our collections relating to the Sunday Concerts, as well as giving you the opportunity to create your own zine.

We are committed to promoting inclusive practice at Conway Hall. Due to the constraints of our building, the Library is not currently accessible to wheelchair users or those with limited mobility but we are happy to discuss with you how we can make the contents and materials accessible to you. We carefully monitor which events are held in the Library, and will use your comments to enable us to develop ways to ensure that everyone should be able to attend events in the future.
