Ian West
Ian is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM), a member of the British Psychological Society (MBPsS), and the Market Research Society. Ian is also an Ambassador for the Essex branch of the Institute of the Directors for creative industries. He is a trainer, coach, a regular speaker and visiting lecturer.
Ian originally trained in art and design before working as art director for paperback publisher Transworld Publishers. Qualifying in marketing he started his own consultancy specialising branding and creative identity development with a strong international bias. Client list contained many household names including Adams Foods, Asda, Lotus, Evode, Vileda and Qualcast.
The business became part of a leading Midlands marketing services group with Ian taking on a number of board roles, including founding and running the digital marketing division.
One-Marketing, is now Ian's independent consultancy providing creative brand-marketing communications, training and coaching. Sectors serviced include; tech, food and drink, finance, education, marine, and building products.
Over recent years his consultancy has concentrated on brand development, creativity and innovation. Interest in international business is undiminished and Ian is heavily involved in export training and the use of digital media to develop overseas business.
