Historic Rittenhouse Town
Historic Rittenhousetown Inc. is a Philadelphia-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1984 to preserve, restore, and interpret the site of America’s first paper mill and early industrial village, now part of the National Historic Landmark District in Fairmount Park. It engages the public through historic tours, educational workshops, cultural events, and environmental stewardship to foster appreciation of local history and heritage.
