Colleen Sinclair founded Building Connections in 2018 with a vision to create a supportive and empowering community for small businesses in the building industry. With over 35 years of leadership experience and 17 years working alongside her husband, Phil, in their family-run scaffolding business, Colleen understands that thriving businesses are built on the well-being of their people and families. Through relaxed, engaging, and educational events, she helps members connect, share experiences, and grow both personally and professionally. Colleen is especially passionate about elevating the women behind the tradies, who often undervalue their roles as "just doing the admin" or "just doing the marketing," positioning them instead as indispensable leaders within the industry. She believes community involvement is key to lightening the mental load and breaking the isolation that so many small business owners face.
