Matt Crompton is a seasoned political strategist and campaign trainer with over 20 years of frontline experience in elections and leadership development. He has played key roles in six UK general elections, including serving in senior leadership positions in 2015 and 2019.

As former Head of the Conservative Party Field Campaign Team, Matt led the recruitment, training, and mobilisation of thousands of activists across the country. He has worked closely with candidates, campaign managers, and volunteers to deliver results in high-pressure environments.

Matt’s training experience spans across the UK, Europe, Africa, and New Zealand, giving him a truly international perspective on grassroots campaigning, digital strategy, and leadership development.

He founded Campaign Leadership Academy to provide practical, accessible, and world-class political training to parties, candidates, and advocacy groups worldwide. Passionate about building confident leaders and successful campaigns, Matt combines deep political insight with a collaborative, real-world approach to training.
