I spent over a decade as a journalist and editor in fast-paced newsrooms and corporate environments—Daily Mail, Daily Mirror, Reach PLC, Bauer Media. I know what it's like to work in spaces where, as a woman, staying quiet felt safer than standing out. Where softening your message felt necessary. Where the performance of "professional" was exhausting.

I understand the invisible forces that keep talented women stuck: the subtle conditioning, the fear of being "too much," the pattern of making yourself smaller to make others comfortable.

I left corporate to launch a coaching business helping ambitious women overcome imposter syndrome and advocate for themselves unapologetically. I developed the EXPAND Method™ based on my own experience of staying small in meetings and watching less qualified people get ahead.

This workshop is the first of what I hope will be a regular series supporting Manchester women in taking up space and backing themselves.
