Yulia Yoldina
Yulia is a photographer and clothing designer and maker. She works exclusively with analogue photography techniques (such as black-and-white film processing and cyanotype) and enjoys simplicity, deep focus, and a genuine human touch throughout the process.
Yulia first fell in love with film photography as a child, drawn to the magic of the darkroom, working with her mum and watching silver grains appear on photographic paper.
She took various courses at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, to develop her passion for photography and design. Yulia has been practising darkroom printing for over ten years, and her photographic stories have been exhibited in group shows at local galleries (such as Sprout Arts, Paxton Centre, and Croydon Art Space) and at events including Crystal Palace Artists Open House and the Urban Art Fair.
In 2025, Yulia set up a professionally equipped darkroom studio, where she now invites visitors to take part in her analogue photography workshops.
