My husband and father have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. It's hard to sit on the sidelines as this cruel disease robs them of everything and everyone they loved. My husband wrote novels and short stories. My father was a teacher and singer/performer. As an Alzheimer’s Association’s MA/NH Chapter Ambassador for the “Do What You Love to End ALZ” fundraising initiative, not only do I organize my own fundraising event, but I help other who’s want to mount events. These personalized events are designed to raise money and awareness in the fight against Alzheimer’s and other dementias including Lewy Body, Vascular, Parkinson’s, and Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD).
