I learnt to sew in South Africa as a young mother, initially motivated by the need to create quality soft furnishings at a time when designer fabrics and ready-made items were not affordable. What began as a practical solution soon developed into a lasting passion.

Over the years, I progressed to producing made-to-measure curtains, blinds, bed coverings, cushions and many other bespoke soft furnishings for private clients. Ten years ago, I relocated to France, where I established a professional soft furnishings business that later expanded to include upholstery and full room makeovers. My client base included private homeowners as well as château owners, delivering tailored solutions for interiors..

I have recently returned to the UK and am now based in the foothills of Pendle Hill. I am pleased to bring this experience and expertise back to the area. My vision is to deliver a programme of soft furnishings workshops over the coming year, designed to share practical skills, build confidence, and support others in creating well-crafted, enduring pieces for their homes
