Lighthouse Women's Aid

Lighthouse are an independent Suffolk charity doing phenomenal work, supporting and empowering women, young people and children who have been subjected to domestic abuse. They provide refuge accomodation for women and children who need to flee from abuse, give specialist advice, practical support and deliver therapeutic and educational programmes from their Community Women's Centre in Ipswich. 

Lighthouse work hard to raise awareness of domestic abuse, building an understanding in our communities to ensure those suffering can seek help. We offer training to local businesses, health professionals and agencies as well as delivering Healthy Relationships education in Suffolk schools.
