Asian Community Development Corporation (ACDC)
Asian Community Development Corporation (ACDC) invests in Asian American and low-income communities by creating and preserving affordable and vibrant neighborhoods in Chinatown and Greater Boston.
ACDC was founded in 1987 to address the affordable housing crisis in Boston's Chinatown. ACDC has since expanded into a holistic, community programs organization serving low-income, immigrant households in Greater Boston, Malden, and Quincy. In addition to building affordable homes, ACDC offers multilingual financial literacy and first-time homebuyer education, youth and resident leadership programs, multilingual civic engagement initiatives, and placekeeping, which convenes youth, residents, and artists to create community-centered public art.
