However, it wasn’t long before we discovered that our guests were drawn not only to the documented history of the region, but also to its mysteries, legends, and darker tales. People wanted more more intrigue, more atmosphere, more of the unknown that lingers just beneath the surface of Devon’s heritage.

To meet this growing curiosity, a new strand of tours and events was born: Haunted Heritage. Blending historical accuracy with documented paranormal accounts, Haunted Heritage explores the eerie and the unexplained hidden within Devon’s landscapes, architecture, and communities. These tours and events offer guests the chance to dive deeper into the county’s supernatural side while still rooted in credible historical research.
