Sundry House at Continuum
You know that feeling of walking into a room and immediately knowing someone with incredible taste lives here? The kind of room that has a story in every corner — a painting you can’t stop looking at, furniture that’s seen things, lighting that makes everyone look like they belong in a film you’d actually want to watch? That’s Sundry House.
We built this space to feel like your most interesting aunt’s southern gothic art studio and private gallery — if she also happened to host the best gatherings in town and had an impeccable record collection. Eclectic, warm, a little dramatic in the best possible way, and full of things worth paying attention to.
Sundry House is the listening lounge and event space inside Continuum Art at the corner of 1st Avenue and King Street in downtown Hendersonville, NC. We host intimate live music, acoustic sets, and curated DJ nights — but what makes this room different isn’t just who’s performing. It’s how it sounds. We built Sundry House around the listening experience. The acoustics, the setup, the volume, the intention — all of it engineered to make you stop scrolling, stop talking, and actually hear what’s happening. This is a room that demands your attention. Good music deserves that.
We program with care, keep the capacity small on purpose, and once a year we go all the way with our Annual Halloween Gala — because a space like this deserves at least one night where everyone comes dressed for the occasion.
If you’ve spent years wishing there was somewhere in this town that took sound seriously, you found it. Pull up a chair. Listen.
