
Anika Vassell - Working Parent Wellbeing Consultant; Teen Behaviourist & Parent Advocate
Anika has worked with young people and their families for over 25yrs and her award-winning service attracts and supports parents from around the world.
Now with a focus on supporting parents in the workplace, Anika works with businesses in developing proactive approaches to their employee wellbeing strategy; opening up the discourse on the stresses of parenting older children and the impact that this has on productivity.
Anika’s experience is extensive. A former Psychology A Level teacher at a leading school in Nottingham, Anika has also worked with young offenders and children within the social care system.
Anika holds a PGCE in Society, Health & Development; an MSc in Forensic Psychology and is a current Doctoral Candidate at the University of Nottingham, researching the area of Occupational Health, Psychology & Management.
Anika is also a mother to two adolescent-aged girls and spent a few years home-educating her youngest child. Her mission is to empower parents with the tools and knowledge necessary to get children through the often complex, adolescent years.
