British Dwarf Dairy Goat Society

We represent the owners and breeders of dwarf dairy goats in the UK. Allowing all to experience the joy of owning these small, useful goats which can be kept by many households looking for fresh sustainable milk. Many goats can give milk with just two kiddings in their lifetime. This reduces greatly the number of animals born who may not be wanted.

Dwarf goats are descended from West African Dwarf goats, also known in the USA as Nigerian dwarf goats. In the UK the pygmy type of WAD is better known, but is also a dairy type that is distinct from the pet goat. Equally friendly and fun to keep it has the added bonus of giving fresh milk each day.
