At Buchanans Cheesemonger we are committed to cheese being enjoyed at its very best. That means sourcing the finest cheeses from producers across the UK and Europe and tending to them in our on-site maturing rooms, using our experience and expertise to decide when they are at their peak. We supply beautifully conditioned cheese to London’s top restaurants and our shop, near Marble Arch, showcases cheese from our cellars with our selection changing regularly depending on what is tasting great.

We are a small team of food-lovers who love to share our knowledge and enthusiasm with our customers. We pride ourselves on our friendly welcome and invite you to come and sample what we think is tasting extraordinary. Our aim is to be a treasure trove filled with treats for every day and every occasion, with plenty to accompany your cheese including crackers, chutneys, and drinks in our Wine Room. We also stock a range of beautiful accessories including cheese boards, ceramics and cheese knives.

We take the same approach to choosing wine as we do our cheese and we enjoy finding wines from producers that share our values. Our range is designed to offer great examples of classic wines as well as interesting bottles from lesser-known regions or grape varieties. Our team is constantly tasting new wines in a bid to bring you something exciting and delicious and to recommend a bottle you will love. We run friendly and informative cheese and wine tastings in our Wine Room where you will get to discover new favourites and learn from our professional cheesemongers and our wine buyers.
