Cameron took his own life in Nov 2014. We organise Cameron's Night Walk every year on a Friday evening close to his birthday on 10 October (aslo World Mental Health Day). Our purpose is to raise awareness of mental fitness for all, and especially in young people, while remembering Cameron.
The Night Walk starts with check in at the Fentham Hall off Marsh Lane in Hampton-in-Arden. The route begins outside the Hall and forms a circuit via Barston and Ryton End and back to the Fentham Hall on footpaths and quiet roads. You can start the walk any time between 6:30pm and 7:30pm. The route is 7.2km (4.5 miles) long and we expect most people to complete the walk in 90 mins - 2 hours. There are marshals and checkpoints around the route and a refreshment stop with soft drinks and sweets.
