Centre for the Study of Social and Global Justice

The Centre for the Study of Social and Global Justice (CSSGJ) was created to provide a focus for research and teaching in relation to the most fundamental question facing us as citizens: how should we live?

Formerly based in the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham in Britain, CSSGJ today offers a space for online education, podcasts, and research in many different facets of social and global justice.

Our research is marked by the variety of approaches and methods, both traditional and contemporary. It is also marked by a willingness to see the issue of justice as one involving both theory and practice – of how justice has been thought about and also how it is implemented.

Mainly by exploiting the internet, CSSGJ currently serves as a platform and research centre to share information and education about socially progressive struggles and solutions, especially for an international audience.

To take part in our online events, please head over to our Eventbrite page, where you can register for CSSGJ talks and events, at http://cssgjnotts.eventbrite.co.uk/

For further information, please contact the CSSGJ's secretary, oliver.dodd@nottingham.ac.uk

If you would like to donate to support the fighting fund of the CSSGJ, please go to our Patreon page at https://www.patreon.com/cssgj. All donations go towards reproducing and raising the profile of the centre and CSSGJ talks and events in matters of social and global justice.
