We are the Hampton Hill Photographic Society based south-west of London.
We are a small friendly group of committed and enthusiastic photographers who meet locally once a month to improve our photography by having either external speakers who talk about their work and techniques, or by members presenting some of their work for discussion and helpful critique. Our members are mainly amateurs but include semi-professional and professional photographers.
The Society was founded 27 years ago in a photographic studio in Hampton Hill High Street. After the owner moved, we met at St James’s Church Hall in Hampton Hill for some years before deciding to move last year to The Bell Inn, a pub on the river at Hampton.
We meet throughout the year on the third Wednesday of every month. Since the Coronavirus pandemic hit us, we have moved online and all our meetings are now brought to you via Zoom. We hope to return to The Bell Inn, Hampton, when the pandemic is under control but this is unlikely to be before 2021.
New members and visitors are always welcome. To take part in one (or more!) of our Online meetings, follow the ‘Meetups’ link provided separately for each month in the Programme section.
In 2010 David Hicks took over the position of Chairman. He and the committee plan a varied programme of presentations and events and look forward to welcoming newcomers.
