dilber nurdinova
Hi, I'm Dilber (they/them), a genderqueer individual with Uyghur and Lithuanian roots. Growing up between Kyrgyzstan and Lithuania, I was exposed to diverse cultures and religions, though I don't adhere to any specific spiritual labels today.
My journey has been shaped by the many roles society assigned to me, leading me to live a life filled with masks and responsibilities that distanced me from my true self. I've faced various forms of violence, discrimination, and trauma throughout my life, pushing me to embark on a healing journey.
Meditation has been a crucial part of this journey, despite initial struggles and challenges within many so-called 'spiritual spaces' that lacked sincerity and inclusivity. I experienced firsthand the issues of cultural appropriation, privilege, and a lack of safe spaces for marginalized communities.
Determined to create a more inclusive and authentic practice, I pursued decolonising wellness spaces. In 2022, I completed a 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training with Radical Darshan, focused on social justice, anti-oppression, and intersectional equity, taught by BIPOC and Queer community members.
In my meditation practices, I emphasise collective healing, awareness, and freedom, integrating principles of care and cultural respect. Join me as we create a space for genuine connection and healing, honoring the roots and traditions of these practices.
