DJ Spen & Quantize Recordings

A Baltimore legend. You may remember DJ Spen from the 80s  and early 90s where he cut his teeth DJing with his hip hop crew the Numarx. From Baltimore’s most prominent parties to opening for LL Cool J and Run DMC, the Numarx were there!

Spen was a consistent presence on MD area radio stations from WEBB to 92Q and 95.9. He started the Flashback Saturday Night Dance Party on 95.9, which is still going strong with Spen’s friend KW Griff.

Eventually, Spen moved on to producing dance music and  can now be found DJing in some of the hottest venues in the world!

He started the Quantize Recordings label in 2012 and it has been going strong ever since with 2 house music releases EVERY WEEK!
