Ely Death Cafe
Ely Death Cafe is part of the global Death Cafe movement. Its aim is to enable people to make the most of their (finite) lives.
At a Death Cafe people come together in a relaxed setting to openly talk about death. There is no agenda.
What it IS: a respectful, confidential, life affirming space to discuss death, dying and everything in between; including climate grief and eco-anxiety.
What it is NOT: advice, bereavement support or grief counselling.
The groups will be different each time and the conversations always fresh. Numbers are limited - please book! Please join the waitlist as there are usually cancellations. After you book, you'll get a confirmation email and a joining link for Zoom. Please check your junk/spam folder if you don't see this email.

“I am a walker, forager, coach, explorer of life - and death. I’m Indian-British and noticed real differences across cultures in how we deal with death, grief, loss, community and mourning. I started hosting a local Death Cafe in 2016, to bring these conversations out in the open. Our gatherings are now virtual & it's great to have people join from other countries. These gatherings are helping us be with death & dying in ways that fit our own context, including collapse on many fronts. Let's restore (re-story?), heal and navigate our way through our uncertain times. We don't have to do it alone. ”
