Gary Aschenbach Jr.

I have been a Special Agent with the United States Department of Defense since 2005 where I became a federally trained polygraph examiner after completing an intensive four-month training program in Forensic Psychophysiology. To date I have conducted over 700 personnel interviews and 1300+ polygraph examinations that are primarily focused U.S. national security, illegal drugs, fraud, burglary, sex offenses (i.e. rape, voyeurism, fetishes, child molestation/abuse, pornography), illegal gambling, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) violations, theft, and financial crimes, to name a few. I hold the Senior Polygraph Examiner classification and as such I am considered to be an expert in the field of detecting deception. In 1999 I was hired by Law-Tech Consultants, LLC and subsequently obtained my license and certification by the Maryland State Police as a private investigator and authorized to carry a concealed weapon. My experience found me involved in a myriad of criminal and civil investigations that include wrongful deaths, insurance fraud, workplace violence, theft, and others. I am a former adjunct instructor at the Community College of Baltimore County, where I taught a three-credit course on the fundamentals of private investigation. I was also published in Professional Investigator magazine and wrote the article, “The Basics of Interviewing or Interrogating.”

During my tenure with Law-Tech Consultants (Law-Tech), I have taught numerous audiences, to include law enforcement, business professionals, human resources, and parents, a myriad of techniques to help them identify deception for use not only in the workplace but also in their personal lives. Unlike any others, at Law-Tech we specialize in teach both Forensic Behavioral Analysis (reading body language) and Forensic Statement Analysis (FSA), two tools that beautifully complement each other, in one seminar, to help identify truth and deception in a person's story. These are must have tools for every investigator and interviewer to enhance your elicitation abilities while boosting confidence levels and positioning you for successful outcomes. FSA is the strategic analysis of a person's own words that affords the investigator/interviewer a non-confrontational way of getting the truth and without the person/interviewee even being present! Since 1998, Law-Tech has been providing this specialized training both inside and outside the U.S. We enjoy an exemplary reputation in our field, outstanding customer service, and a plethora of success stories/testimonials from attendees. Our training is the only of its kind on the market and we can sharpen your investigative or interviewing skills as well! Follow us today (@lawtechllc) on Facebook, LinkedIn, and X!
