Gary Jessop, Pro.Dip Psy C
Gary Jessop is a professionally qualified counsellor who works with both individuals and groups. He founded the Men’s Compass Room—a safe and respectful space for men to connect, talk openly about what’s on their minds, and support each other in a confidential, non-judgmental setting. Sometimes, just sitting in a room and listening is the beginning of real change.
1:1 Counselling Sessions:
Gary offers flexible individual therapy tailored to your needs, including:
Walk and Talk sessions
Online and Telephone counselling
Face-to-Face appointments in his practice room
He specialises in areas such as:
Bereavement and Loss
Working through Grief
Anxiety and Stress
Worries and Fears
His approach provides a compassionate, empathetic space for clients to express themselves freely and work through life’s challenges.
Men’s Group Sessions: The Men’s Compass Room
Open to men aged 18+, this group offers a unique opportunity to speak, listen, and be heard in a supportive environment. Recognising that many men find it difficult to open up, the group dynamic fosters connection, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.
Wellbeing Beyond the Therapy Room
In addition to private sessions and group work, Gary facilitates off-site wellness events for teams and companies. These have included sessions aboard a yacht in Portsmouth and guided experiences in the South Downs—bringing mental wellbeing into inspiring settings.
Blending professional training with real-life experience, Gary offers grounded, human support for wherever you are in life’s journey.
"I look forward to welcoming you to a time set aside just for you."
