We support community mental health and wellbeing by providing
Physical health activities such as gardening, local walks, affordable exercise classes (with our community partners)
Social connection projects and activities through our volunteer programme and community events
Accessible Information and capacity building and development support to diversify and increase services and opportunities and promote citizenship empowerment
Learning and development opportunities through our volunteer programme, training events, workshops and classes and arts provision
We act as a ‘link and support’ partner to build community connection and capacity through
Annual community events attended by a diverse range of ward residents from different cultural and ethnic groups
Establishing and developing partnerships with community groups, businesses and organisations
Supporting and empowering community groups and individuals to deliver projects effectively and sustainably
Providing shared projects and activities for community individuals to reduce isolation and encourage social connection
Strengthening cultural representation, reducing marginalisation and promoting understanding to help create and maintain an inclusive and cohesive community
We offer affordable spaces for hire to local organisations, groups and individuals for
