Heybridge & Maldon Climate Action Partnership
HMCAP is a group of residents from the Maldon District who have come together to help create awareness of the impacts of Climate Change on our community.
We have the following aims:
Take practical actions in our local area to raise awareness of both a changing climate and biodiversity loss
Examine practical ways to help mitigate the potential impacts of climate & ecological changes in our local area
Bring the community together in taking positive practical steps to save energy, reduce waste and enhance our local & natural environment
Work together to promote better, more sustainable travel options
Work in collaboration with other groups, organisations and local authorities in providing feedback and consultation.
We are a group for everyone, as the impacts of a changing climate will affect us all.
