Jade Adamson
Jade Adamson is a dancer, choreographer, movement director, facilitator and toddler mum.
She has worked closely as a collaborator and performer with Barrowland Ballet (since 2006) and is currently the rehearsal director for their touring production Playful Tiger and co-facilitator for their intergenerational community company, Wolfpack. Jade also works with Paragon Music as dance support artist, facilitator and mentor. Currently, she is also Dancer in Residence at Howford Primary School, where she develops dance and movement practices for young people with additional support needs and the adults who support them.
Growing up in a working class community in Fife and building an international career in dance, has instilled a passionate belief in the power and value of the arts. Jade believes that opportunities to participate not only bring people together, but can essentially inspire change, challenge perceptions, question expectations and contribute towards healthier, happier, more resilient communities.
Jade has ambitions to help develop the dance and arts community in the East End of Glasgow*, where she lives. *If you are also interested in this and want to chat or collaborate get in touch.
