As an athlete competing for club (Birchfield Harriers) and country, my health and well-being were a cornerstone to my success. Whilst the rest of my friends were out clubbing on a Friday night, I was tucked up in bed in order to get a good night’s sleep ahead of the competition that weekend.
My nutrition was integral to this, and my mum ensured that I had a nutritious, balanced diet throughout the week. Having retired from competition due to injury, I find that I now love sharing my life experiences with others and how I have adapted those training regimes and my diet to maintain my peek fitness around my busy life as a parent, grandparent, wife, career and my home-based health and wellness business.
