Learn Equality, Live Equal

Learn Equality, Live Equal is a free programme of training and support to help schools prevent and tackle homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying.

Training is available for staff from primary and secondary schools and covers 'All Children, All Families: LGBT-inclusive relationships and sex education' and 'Gender Matters. Gender identity, gender equality and trans-inclusion'. Face to face, one day training sessions are followed up by personalised support from experienced trainers and eLearning modules, which can be used to disseminate learning amongst school staff.

All attendees must take part in an evaulation carried out by Sheffield Hallam University, which involves completing a short online survey before attending training, and 3-6 months after.

The programme is managed by National Children's Bureau with funding from the Department for Education and Government Equalities Office. It is delivered in partnership by the Sex Education Forum and the Anti-Bullying Alliance, with support from Educational Action Challenging Homophobia (EACH).
