Leicester Open Coffee Club
Open Coffee Club is a simple idea - have a fixed time and place where entrepreneurs, investors, developers and marketers involved and interested in startups could get together in a really informal setting to meet, chat and make connections.
The aim is to meet at least once per month in an informal and relaxed environment to chat about all things related to starting a business.
Leicester is celebrated as one of the most vibrant and diverse cities in the UK. It is home to a growing entrepreneurial community 'Leicester Startups' and in the heart Leicester’s Cultural Quarter, LCB Depot, home to creative enterprise and enterprising creatives. The city is home to two leading universities: the University of Leicester and De Montfort University, which respectively are seeking to enable innovation through their respective centres: Leicester Innovation Hub and the Innovation Centre. Start-up Britain placed Leicester 2nd in the UK for start-up growth.
Unlike other meetups, there are NO agendas, and NO presentations. It is pure networking. We simply provide the place. If you do attend, do try to buy yourself a coffee or two, which helps the hosts run their business.
