Lindsey Porter
Lindsey has been teaching Hatha Yoga practices since 2006 and, prior to teaching Yoga full time (from 2015) and becoming a Yoga Tutor with Yoga Scotland (in 2018), Lindsey spent over 20 years working in the Financial Services Industry in Project Management delivering global change projects.
A community activist and a signatory of the Mental Health Charter for Physical Activity & Sport Lindsey champions the yoga community to participate to help break down barriers for people with mental health challenges to participate in activity such as yoga.
Lindsey is a published author with her debut book ‘Whirlpools, yoga and the balance of life’. She also writes wellbeing-based articles and has been published in the Huffington Post, Psychologies, and OM Yoga magazines. She is the co-founder of the nominated international podcast series Voices of Yoga.
