Local Trust - Partnerships & Learning

Local Trust's mission is to enable residents to make their own communities and their areas better places in which to live.

Local trust’s Partnerships and Learning team manage a range of Local Trust initiatives; the Creative Civic Change programme, the Community Leadership Academy, organising the Big Local learning, networking and support partners offers and, influencing the business and the civil society sectors about the power of community led change.

We organise many of the events you will see on the website - regional clusters and chairs networking sessions, Connects, Keep Connected and more! We manage the organisations who offer their expertise to Big Local areas on a range of topics providing advice, mentoring and opportunities to grow knowledge, such as Locality and Shared Assets, who support Big Local areas around acquiring assets and becoming legal bodies.
