Louie Gardiner of Potent 6

Louie Gardiner is a Systemic/Symmathesic OD consultant, facilitator & trainer; Master Accredited Executive Coach; Coaching Supervisor; Doctoral Researcher; and Fellow of the RSA. Since 2010 she has been a committed fellowship member of and contributor to the trustbuilding and reconciliation work of Initiatives of Change. Louie is at ease whilst working with enormous complexity.  She is adept at enabling dialogue across divides and facilitating productive partnering within, between and across diverse communities, sectors and disciplines. She works with groups and one-to-one; and engages in whole-organisation and multi-sector leadership and change programmes that span complex professional and community contexts.

Beyond the diverse roles she has undertaken in the personal and professional aspects of her life, Louie has come to be known as a passionate pioneer generating new ways to unleash learning and catalyse personal and systemic/‘symmathesic’ transformation.  She is an experienced, authentic, wholehearted practitioner equipping individual and organisational clients to embrace and navigate complex, fast-changing contexts & challenges. Her holistic, empathic understanding of the dynamics and patterns that play out in human systems is born of her deeply reflexive engagement with herself, others, work and life.

She is the originator of the P6 Constellation which sits at the heart of the practice she calls ‘Presence-in-Action’. Also, through her 35+ years of praxis - and her iterative weaving between personal/professional practice and academic inquiry - she has brought forth novel approaches, concepts and models that contribute new ways of ‘understanding, being and doing’ in the world. Her offerings help people transition into new paradigms and to engage with themselves, life/work and with each other, with greater acuity, agility, fluency and artistry... and joy!

Louie’s creations include:

  • an articulation of ‘Complexity-attuned Behaviours’
  • the concept of ‘metalogic coherence’ and the development of approaches that are coherent with a complexity thinking paradigm (PAI, Participation Compass and the P6 Constellation)
  • the ‘Symmathesic Agency Model’ (SAM) and the ‘Systemic Researcher Playspace’ (SRP).

These all eventually find their way into the Presence-in-Action and Community Approve Practitioner trainings she delivers.
