Mark Bowles

Mark Bowles is an award-nominated novelist and teacher. His first novel, All My Precious Madness (Galley Beggar, 2024) was nominated for the Goldsmiths Prize, the Authors Club First Novel Award and the James Tait Memorial Prize. The audio version of the book is up for Best Fiction at the Annual Audio Awards (the "Speakies"). All My Precious Madness was positively reviewed in the Telegraph, Times, Observer, Guardian, New Statesman, Literary Review and TLS. Former Goldsmiths Prize winner and booker judge M. John Harrison commented simply: "God. Mark Bowles, All My Precious Madness. Do read it, please." and novelist and creative writing professor Lars Iyer called it a "beautiful war machine".
