Micheal Downing
Micheal has vast knowledge and experience within the performing arts industry and over 20 years teaching experience and has produced 7 Stadium Theatre School shows since opening in 2010. With many in house end of term performances and pantomimes alongside. He is passionate about theatre and giving his students a platform to shine!
Micheal has also produced and choreographed events for Lynx, Superdrug and Tesco for London and Brighton Prides. As well as choreographing other corporate events for Coca-Cola, Excel London and NEC Brimingham.
He started dancing at 17 and within two years was studying performing arts on a full three year scholarship at Performers College.
He has featured in music videos for Olly Murs 'Dance with me tonight' & 'Please don't let me go' and MK & Becky Hill - 'Back and forth'. He toured America with the Osmond brothers, worked with award winning choreographer Arlene Philips on Bratz Passion for fashion tour. He had rave reviews playing the duck in Peter and the Wolf at the Hackney Empire.
He also danced with Take That on there sell out UK stadium tour The Circus. Performing at Wembley stadium to 100,000 4 nights in a row is an incredible memory he will cherish forever.
Films include Victor Frankenstien as an assistant to Choreographer Jack Murphy (working with Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe) and the Elton John biopic Rocketman.
Micheal has been featured in multiple adverts on TV from Marks and Spencer to MoneySupermarket.
He has been a guest judge at Bloomy Rain dance festival in Lithuania and Synergy Dance Competition in Vancouver.
After years of teaching at many of London's top performing arts colleges and at Pineapple dance studio he started The Stadium Theatre School in 2010 and is very proud to be running it since.
